The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Privacy Enhancing Technologies for the Digital Society is a joint doctoral program by the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP) and Ruhr University Bochum (RUB). The program focuses on five key areas: Cryptography, Computational & Network Infrastructures, Data Use & System Design, User-Centric Systems, and Privacy-Respecting Machine Learning. It aims to foster fundamental research to make privacy the default in digital societies.
