About this opportunity
The Bayer Foundation offers scientific fellowships for outstanding students to pursue international research projects and internships. The program aims to enhance study programs through international placements and strongly encourages applications from women and individuals from low- and middle-income countries. Fellowships are available in Drug Discovery, Agricultural Science, Medical Sciences, Climate & Health, and for STEM teachers.
Target Audience: Master’s, PhD, and medical students; also STEM student teachers and educators (teachers must be working/studying in Germany).
Geographic Eligibility: Global (Students in Germany must go abroad; students outside Germany must go to a German research institution).
Tangible Benefits:
◦Funding: Up to €10,000 in funding per fellowship.
◦Duration: Fellowships for up to six months (up to twelve months for teachers).
◦Community: Access to the Bayer Foundation community of fellows.
Application Deadline: April 15, 2026.
Event Date: Fellowships can be undertaken throughout 2026.
