This advanced-level face-to-face training program, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and funded by the European Union’s Global Gateway Initiative, is designed to strengthen technical capabilities in designing, monitoring, and evaluating evidence-based digital policies. The course focuses on interpreting ICT statistics and utilizing diverse evidence sources, such as geospatial data and policy assessments, to achieve universal and meaningful connectivity. Participants will engage in lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on workshops led by experts in the field.

The program is offered free of charge for selected participants, covering accommodation, meals, and extracurricular activities in Bangkok. While participants or their organizations are generally responsible for travel and visa costs, applicants from specific countries—including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Lao, Nepal, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam—may be eligible for additional travel support. The training spans 40 hours and is conducted in English, targeting professionals involved in digital development and policy-making.
