The Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship, powered by Watson Institute, is a fully funded program for community leaders leveraging AI to scale inclusive, local solutions in Google Data Center Communities. The 4.5-month virtual program (September 2026 – January 2027) combines entrepreneurship training with embedded AI skills development, committed mentorship from practitioners with deep technical expertise, integration of Google’s AI products and resources, and financial tools. Target Audience: Impact-driven entrepreneurs and community leaders aged 18+ who are leveraging technology or AI to address pressing challenges in their community. Must be located in, or creating measurable impact within, specific Google Data Center Communities. Geographic Eligibility (Strict): Only applicants from the following communities are eligible: • United States: Austell/Douglas County (GA), Berkeley County (SC), Council Bluffs (IA), Fort Wayne (IN), Loudoun County (VA), Midlothian (TX), Omaha (NE), Stillwater (OK), Tulsa/Pryor/Muskogee (OK) • International: Groningen (Netherlands), Hamina (Finland), Waltham Cross/Hertfordshire, Thurrock, Epping/Essex, and Greater London (UK) Tangible Benefits: Fully funded program (no fees), $1,000 community development stipend for organizing Basecamps, access to Google’s AI products and resources, Grow with Google Career Certificate scholarships, pitch training, opportunities to speak at Google events with travel covered, and long-term alumni support. Alumni have raised $41.5M in capital and created 1,316 paid jobs. Weekly Commitment: 8-10 hours per week (workshops on Tue/Wed/Thu).
