About this opportunity

The Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC) invites early-career Indian and German researchers to apply for the PECFAR. This fellowship aims to foster collaboration and innovation in STEM by enabling paired researchers from India and Germany to explore networking opportunities and conduct short visits to each other's countries. Applicants must form a pair, consisting of one Indian and one German Early Career Researcher, and submit a joint proposal. Fellowships range from a minimum of 3 weeks to a maximum of 2 months, with a one-time grant covering travel and fellowship expenses. Who Can Apply: Early Career Researchers with a regular position in academia/research institution/industry or holding long-term nationally recognized fellowships (4+ years). Must have a minimum of a Master's in Science or a Bachelor's in Engineering (4 years) and be under 40 years of age. Nature of the Support: - Fellowship: €2300/month/fellow (pro rata) - Travel: Single round-trip economy class airfare, including visa fees and medical/travel insurance. Approximately ₹1 lakh (for Indian fellow) and €1500 (for German fellow).
