Monika has become the first woman from India to get the Financial Services Information Sharing Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) Cybersecurity scholarship worth USD 10,000. The scholarship was launched by FS-ISAC, an industry consortium dedicated to reducing cyber risk in the global financial system and supporting financially and mentoring young women in the field of cyber security in 2016. Every year they select 14 women from all over the world and mentor them. Monika is the first from India to bag this scholarship.
